Why did you open a spa?

"Why did you open a spa?" - One of the most popular questions I get asked. I usually answer by saying, "I have no idea", but that's really not true.

I opened a spa because I enjoy seeing people relaxed and happy. I love it when a guest comes into our spa who has had a bad day, and they are a bit grumpy, but leaves relaxed and has a smile on their face. It makes me feel good to know that what we created in our spa brings smiles to people and makes them feel better. I have to thank the people who suported and helped create this spa for that.

It started when I owned Goddess of the Sun Tanning. I was sitting behind the desk and a woman came in and told me how much she enjoyed coming to my place and asked me if I had ever thought of adding more services. That is all it took. Everyday for years I studied, did research and tried products to offer my guests. I only wanted the best for my guests so it was a very long process. I asked my guests at the salon their opinions on what they thought of my ideas or products, and took each opinion very seriously. I wanted to make sure that I had the public opinion, and not a friend or family, because sometimes they don't want to hurt your feelings and I needed total honesty.

The more I worked on the new ideas the more I noticed how my guests were reacting to them. They were happy, and that made me happy. So, after years of trying new products and testing services, Echelle Day Spa was created.

I rely on feedback from our guests because thats how the spa was built. I know some people are not comfortable telling us, but Its the only way we can be better at what we do, and continue to give you the service you enjoy. I wanted to build a place where people can relax, release some stress, and go home rejuvinated with a better feeling then when they came in. The only way to do that is to listen to what our guests like, and dislike. So please, help me continue giving you a place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. Let us know how you feel.....  Please e-mail us your feedback to info@echelledayspa.com
